Chowdiah Memorial Hall- Malleshwaram

Chowdiah memorial hall it is know as cultural center in Bangalore.It has musical and theater.  It is administered by Academy of Music an independent registered founded in 1961

Chowdiah Memorial Hall is a cultural centre a veariry of events  from Carnatic and Hindustani concerts, jazz, ballets, traditional and contemporary dance performance ,it was built as a the tribute to the Titumukadual Chowdaih , Many cultural event are done , and it is one of the important place for socialist people .

Every year Kannada sathaya Samalena is done in Chowdiah memorial hall .

The auditorium is built in the shape of a gigantic seven stringed violin complete with the strings, keys, the bridge and the bow. It has marble foyer lit with chandeliers.

Chowdiah Memorial Hall timing is Morning 9.am to 7.30 pm
