Tipu Sultan’s Palace in Bangalore is an important monument both from a historic and touristic place.

Tipu Sultan’s Palace in Bangalore . The palace is made completely of teak-wood,Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, in Bangalore, is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysor ruler Tipu sultha ,Hyder ali commenced its construction within the walls of the Bangalore fort, and it was completed during the reign of Tipu Sultan in 1790-1792
Since it is only a summer palace of the King one should not have high expectations with the palace nor should it be compared to the palace of Tipu at Srirangapatna.
The structure was built entirely of teak wood and stands adorned with pillars, arches and balconies. It is believed that Tipu Sultan used to conduct his durbar from the eastern and western balconies of the upper floor

1. Lalbagh it is just 2.5 km from the tipu palace around 10-15 min drive through Basavanguddi or city market
2. Cubbon park it is around 7 to 8 km from palace through city market it take 30 to 40 min drive from this place.....
