The big bull temple is located in basavangudi.It may be 10 to12 kms from heart city of bangalore(majestic) its famous for big basavanna(big bull) it has more than 23 feet as the same as maha nandi (maharastra) for every year of nov-dec (karthik masa)they conduct festival and all the farmer of bangalore surroundings who grow ground nut they offer 1st ground nut to this basavanna...the festival is conducyed for 3 days more than 1 lakh people will participate in this festival....
It will be 10-12 kms from majestic there are many bus convinent to this place and it was famous temple...
The temple has history of 500 years long back...once upon a time one bull was eating ground nut in the feild ten one farmer ran to beat the bull and the bull ran and became invisisibe and day after tomorow all farmers ground nut was eaten by bulls night and night. Then they offerd bull to not to eat any of ground nut in yeild so that they offer the 1st ground nut to lord basavanna so that they offer1st ground nut to basavanna and then they start selling them...
Dodda ganapathi temple near by basavanna gudi we can go through walk it may be 200-300mts long
Direction to reach is from majestic via basavagudi
Temple is open from 7am to 12pm and 4.30pm to 8.30pm

Its very nice place we can see big bull may ne 25 feet and it was very nice place more than 500 people visit this place per day and it was vety nice experience the photography is fully restricted in temple so by hiding mobile i have taken some photos of big basavanna it has taken 30- 50 min to reach temple by majestic( by two wheeler) it was nice temple..
