Gali Anjaneya Temple - Mysore Road


The Gali Anjaneya temple  Bangalore located on the Mysore Road. The history of the temple of Gali Anjaneya the temple belong to age of 1425.The temple was built by Sri Vyasaraya of Channapattana. 

Gali anjaneya temple it one of the oldest temple in bangalore loacated in mysore road . In kanada (Gali) means air .According to history it is said that the idol of Lord anjaneya was open to (gali).
Apart from the history anjaneya is the son of Vayu hence he is call as vayuputtra 
 therefore Gali Anjaneya.the tall Rajagopura in the entrance
 of the Gali Anjaneya temple we can see the darshan of Lord Ganesha and Venugopala Swamy.

Apart from the temple there is an another historical background that is four pillar of Nadaprabu Kempegowda .the founder of Bangalore he laid four piller has a square for the bangalore ,in those piller we can see the one pillar next to Gali Anjaenaya temple

Morning  7.30 am to evening 8.30 pm
every Saturday special poojas are done

City market it is  5 km distance from the temple 
it is Mysore road so it connect to Water park Wonderla it is  30 km journey  1 hour drive
