Iskon - yeshwanthpur

Introduction;

Iskon is located in rajajinagar. . It is one of the largest ISKCON temples in the world. The temple is a huge cultural complex that was inaugurated in 1997 by Shankar Dayal Sharma. The project was conceived and executed by Madhu Pandit Dasa following the wishes of HDG A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acarya of ISKCON to promote Vedic culture and spiritual learning.

History;

Around 1976, devotees from different parts of India and the world had initiated activities of ISKCON in different parts of South India like Bangalore, Hubli, Madras, etc. Sankirtans in the streets, enrolling Life Members, arranging programs in the houses, and arranging large public programs in pandals were being conducted. In May 1997, Bangalore ISKCON Temple was inaugurated by the then president of India - Shankar Dayal Sharma.

Timings;

It will open at 6 a.m to 12.30 p.m
Evening  at     4.30 p.m to 8 p.m

Entry fee;

There is no entry fee except parking fee 30 rupee for 2 hours...

Mahalakshmi temple is located near by iskon it may be 800 mts from this temple...

Direction;

It is 10-12 kms from majestic its very nearer to yeshwanthpur it may take 45-1 hour of journey from majestic....

Declaration ;

It was nice place we can see radha and krishna idol in the temple we can see whole temple was built fully with glass and also we can hear bajan of lord krishna....
