Cubbon park- kasturi ba road

Introduction ;

It is located in lung area of Bangalore city..it's very near to majestic or may be called as center of the city it covers with 300 (1.2 km2 ) acres of surroundings we can see more number of bamboo trees in this park and it was very efficient place for one day picnic and we can see so many trees in this place...

The importance of this park to city's environment is best stated by 2 urban architecture who have won the national competition to design freedom park...

History ;

It was created in the year 1870 by general Richard Ashley by British chief engineer of eyesore state it covered area of 100acres and subsequent expansion has taken place and reported now about 300acres or has building, statues plantation etc..
In the year 1927 the park was renamed. As Sri chamaraja Odeyar...

Timings ;

It will open at 10.30 a.m to 6 p.m except ever Monday of the month...

Entry fee ;

There is entry fee of 30 rupees per head and we can also see a small train in this park it go through one round of park t take 15 min of ride in park anecdote that we have to pay extra 30 rupee for ride and other than parking 20 rupees...
Train-30, entry- 30, parking 20= 80 rupees for whole enjoyment...

Direction;

We can go through 2 routes..1. Majestic  via mg road. .. 2. Majestic via high court road...it may have 5-6 kms from majestic..it may take 15-20 min of journey from majestic to cubbon park....

Nearest place;

M.g road it may have 600 mts long from this cubbon park....and m.g road was very beautifull place for enjoyment...

Declarition;

Cubbon park was very biggest park in Bangalore it's very difficult to go round around this park because it has surrounding of 4-5 kms and we have gone a round in small train may be 30-40 people can carry at a time it was nice riding and we have enjoyed a lot..and it was perfect place for one day of picnic...
